YOUTH AND THEIR CONTEMPORARY LIFE, A CONCERN CITIZEN.
I have to put down this to cry out my pains.
YOUTH AND THEIR CONTEMPORARY LIFE
By Ghazali Yusuf
Our mindset and directions has been my major problem day and night!
With the way things are going in Nigeria, I doubt if youth do still have future in the country. In addition to the perennial problems that have bedevilled Nigeria over the years, if a youth of a country is well aware and is in charge of their acts, they can bring about some considerable changes in the country and talking about bringing change does not require a badge or a title. Youth leave footprints of change in their communities, the world itself has long associated youth with risk-taking and recklessness. Leaders should know and be aware that you don't need to build the future for the youth but you can build the youth for the future, young people are never problems to be solved but always part of the solution as change markers but in Nigeria reverse is always the case we were given wrong ideas, mislead and confused, we were never left in peace to build and think of our tomorrow. The faces of youth today tells about yesterday and determine what will happen, it's never too late to reshape our thinking and focused on our future, we all have dreams and aspirations, why don't we go for it and make ways to achieve them??? We shouldn't be carried away by the ineptitude, nepotism and incompetence displayed in the country to deny us bringing the best and the potentialities in both of us.
My philosophy is that everyone has strengths, passions, capacities, and abilities, meaning the focus should never be on what is wrong with youth, but instead on how to use their relatively untapped reservoir of possibility, creativity, invention, and endless reams of energy to change the nation.
